Your route should remain yours.

Schoolbell Ember uses browser location only to notice when your current position enters a seeded school zone. That processing happens locally in your browser. Individual routes are not retained, uploaded, or used to build a history of where you have been.

What the gate means
Consent is an app choice, not a hidden prompt.
Nothing asks for browser location on first visit. Acceptance only unlocks the option; the “Allow location & begin” button remains the deliberate user gesture that starts a watch.

When accepted, the browser may provide a position to this page so it can compare that position with the seeded school zones. The alert tone is generated locally, and any draft prayer text stays in the current page session.

When denied, route watch remains blocked. When revoked, any active watch is stopped, the current location and accuracy display are cleared, and the gate returns to a blocked state.

Your browser may still show its own location permission prompt after you accept and explicitly start. That browser setting is separate and is never treated as app consent.
